I have never seen such clumsy and careless help from Square/Weebly about my domain. For more than a month, I tried to do something simple: verify my domain so I can reach DNS settings and link my site. Because Square/Weebly failed to send the ICANN verification email, my domain stayed locked from the start. Instead of fixing it, I’ve been: Moved between teams many times. Given generic, copy-paste replies that do not solve my issue. Told to “check WHOIS” or “edit my contact info,” which would start another 60-day lock. They kept saying it was fixed, but nothing changed. Even after promises to resend the email manually, nothing showed up. Meanwhile, my business launch got pushed back and I wasted hours chasing them with no real answers. This is more than bad service, this is carelessness and ICANN non-compliance. Square/Weebly has failed to do the basic registrar job: give registrants a working verification path. I have filed a formal ICANN complaint against Register.com (Square/Weebly’s registrar partner) for their repeat failures. ⚠️ If you think about getting a domain with Square/Weebly, DO NOT. You could be locked out and left without real support. Choose a real registrar that takes responsibility and values its customers. I kept copies of emails and timelines, but none helped, and I still do not trust them. I will warn others and tell ICANN about mess.

My time with this service has felt like what others have shared here - really bad! It is such a mess, it almost looks like a scam. I have had failure after failure with tech, and every time, their support is awful. Getting any reply takes ages, and when it arrives, it is usually useless, just cop... I write back explaining this won't fix the issue, and then another person answers, asking the same things I already told in earlier mails. Recently, for the sixth time in six months, I cannot log in. I have not changed anything. I emailed support, and instead of help, they reply with 'Can I check you can log in now'. Of course I can't! No one has actually helped! I know this all sounds like a rant, but after months of problems, I am sure they are running a scam. As a busy mum with a small business, I have no time for this. I will soon move my site to another service. I am a working mum trying to run a small shop and this wastes time and money. I cannot keep dealing with the same issues. Moving to another service feels right now.

When I finally reached out after a while, a rep said it’s probably my address on file, talking about my business address, which is ridiculous. I’m no tech expert but even my grandma would know an address won’t make the category menu disappear. He closed the case, I reopened it, then he swapped the template and said there you go, and closed the case again; it didn’t fix the problem. I’m still here over a month later trying to sort it out, and no replies lately, so I’m asking for all of my images back because you can’t access them in the dashboard which is limited. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, FIND BETTER OPTIONS.
I designed an entire page, clicked publish, and it disappeared from the live site. No backup, no rollback option offered by support.

Things were okay for a while, but then it all fell apart. First, it got tricky to use, and one wrong click could wreck the whole setup. But the real issue showed up today, finally. Not much else to say, really. The feature stopped working, and we lost access to half of our pages. The font changed, and we lost buttons. I'm searching for a better platform to run. Update: I fixed it. Still annoyed, though, seriously.
Stuck on my media project, I wrote a ton to post and now it's all vanished, the site layout feels like a clunky typewriter and I'm just 16... please sort this out before someone else loses my work forever, please now

Services are really bad
Support is really poor. The help team never gives you a decent reply, and I still cannot bring my domain or site back online, which stays offline because of their own poor service anyway, sadly.

terrible service.
Spent £1000 a year for my site and I still don't get the features I picked. Customer support did nothing to help. Ignore the top-host lists—those reviews lie. they’re awful. No one helps and I feel let down again daily.

It's usable, but slow
Weebly is usable, but performance is sluggish and templates feel outdated. If updates fix speed and stability, it could be decent.

Simple made infuriatingly complicated
Cheap, glitchy service with design flaws. CONSTANTLY spinning wheels over the simplest tasks. Weebly slipped into total mess. They CLAIM free domain hosting, but they fail to deliver. It used to let you type in the domain you want, yet now it redirects to a page demanding $120 per year. Also, even though I have an account and a site, they couldn't locate the account I set up YESTERDAY. Weebly is done, give it a rest! I won't try them again for anything important ever, period. They waste everyone's time.
Awful time with this place, I sent a ticket and they never reply. Chat is useless and they keep saying they'll fix it ( I sat in the chat for hours ). Of course, nothing changed. Terrible company.

We'll move on when our paid term ends. Avoid paying for this service. There are plenty of decent firms out there. We found better help elsewhere, no regrets so far.

After sending many emails, they never did what was needed to change the DNS on their end, even after I unlocked the domain first, and I wasted days waiting on replies without any real help.
The editor lags, autosave breaks content, and images fail to load. After hours of fiddling, I gave up.

Don’t care about clients
Been using weebly for ages but only found the app broke when I tried to sign in to edit the site. I phoned weebly, not realising the call would last 11 mins and bill me over £53.00, only to be told the app won’t work in your area anymore. No email explaining what was going on, but they still kept... Been using weebly for ages but only found the app broke when I tried to sign in to edit the site. No email explaining what was going on, but they still kept charging subscriptions fast. When I complained I heard “no problem,” clearly showing they don’t care about long term customers or anyone reading the reviews. I was hoping for help, not more charges. There was no heads up, just a sudden stop and a bill I didn’t expect. So in short, I’d not recommend them. It left me feeling ignored and out of pocket costs anyway.
Requested a cancellation and refund weeks ago, and the process kept stalling. Each reply blamed different policies, with no clear resolution.

Lately, I used to have a nice run. But in the last month, support got very tough to deal with. I sent about ten careful help tickets about one file issue, giving all needed details—names, places, and direct links. Still, replies came slow (usually three days) and they kept asking the same things again. Then the ticket ended up closed without a fix. Calling their phone help was long and tiring, and the people didn’t seem to know their own system. Every call, I had to tell the same story to a new agent. And now, to make things worse, my account is locked, and they say there’s “no issue.” Yet I still can’t reach it. I hate to leave a note like this after so long, but I have no other choice. Anyone paying for a service deserves fair, able support, especially shops that rely on their site to stay afloat. Other users should see these internal help gaps before they sign up. Don’t just take my word—look at other reviews and comments. There’s a clear pattern. In my view, Square’s customer care does not fit the needs of places that need quick, smart help. If you use Weebly or think about it for your business, go with caution. Based on what I saw lately, the help is not reliable and can cause big problems when you need it most. If you need steady help, think twice. I wanted a reliable setup for my site, but the help never came when you needed it most.

(do Trump ever think why Europeans don't buy enough US goods? This is why) Post script: I finally reached someone in the US, but once they couldn't fix the issue after about 1.5 hours on the call, they said they'd forward me to 'Customer Service' - which was closed then because they only stay open to 5pm for UK folks. So I got cut off, issue still there. I just wanted this fixed, and to keep using the service again.
