This bank is the worst in the country. Their online system seems old enough to time travel. They still use paper mail, pins, faxes, and other dusty habits in the name of safety. The entire leadership should be replaced with people who listen and act. Otherwise customers will keep leaving soon.

This bank is a complete scam
That bank is a total scam, stay away at any price. You get fees, for almost everything, after two decades with banks in many countries, this is easily the worst ever.

Schrecklichste Erfahrung. Die Bank gehört zu den wirklich schlechtesten herkömmlichen Banken. Online-Fähigkeiten fehlen. Flexibilität fehlt. Zinsen am niedrigsten. Dazu kommt, dass sie einfach Kontoführungsgebühren abziehen und nicht erstatten, bei einem KONTO das eigentlich kostenlos ist!??? Nic... Schrecklichste Erfahrung. Die Bank gehört zu den wirklich schlechtesten herkömmlichen Banken. Online-Fähigkeiten fehlen. Flexibilität fehlt. Zinsen am niedrigsten. Dazu kommt, dass sie einfach Kontoführungsgebühren abziehen und nicht erstatten, bei einem KONTO das eigentlich kostenlos ist!??? Nicht zu empfehlen. Besonders die Volksbanken in NRW! Terrible time. Volksbank ranks among the poorest old banks. Online features are missing. Flexibility is not offered. Rates are the worst. Also, they keep charging maintenance fees and never pay them back, even though the account should be free!???? Not advisable, absolutely not, recommended.
Volksbank Pur: this banking run felt awful. opening accounts becomes hard. adding new services is hard. the securegoplus and app link-up is too tangled. activating a credit card came with directions that were flat out wrong. no way to switch online banking to English today.

Most unethical bank with worst service…
Very shady bank, with the worst service I’ve seen: 1. It took over a month to answer a complaint (!!!) and they kept me waiting, never apologized, and gave vague dates. 2. It took over a month to answer a complaint (!!!) and they kept me waiting, never apologized, and gave vague dates. 2. Fees on the account top ten euros each month, and they add charges that feel unfair sometimes; even after asking twice, I still couldn’t get clear answers about fees. 3. The moment I lost my job, they said my credit line on the card was cut off, even though I’ve been a customer for 12 years; I had to call several times and still had no real explanation. 4. The staff at my local branch were cold and rude, not willing to help at all; I was told to try the online help instead of talking to a person. Bottom line: I don’t need BVB; there are plenty better banks with nicer service and fairer fees, and my family warned me about their tricks, so I closed my account. That move saved me money and stress for good. Really true.
