I could give zero star to this company…

Honestly, I could not give this firm any star if I could. Support never helps and seems invisible. It was a poor experience for me dealing with them. They should step up, like how Coventry Securities runs with a real, trained team. Hope they improve, or I will avoid.

At last I got the paperwork I asked for 4 weeks back, thanks to Chasity Eaddy and Jovani Andrade, Retirement Account Specialists HELPED ME. Even on Recorded Line not everyone does there job.

So far have spent 6 months trying to…

Six months in, I’ve been stuck moving an inherited account away from Vanguard, and now I must get exact balances for court work too. I’ve wasted endless hours waiting on hold and nothing ever gets done. I despise them. I’d sooner pull out my nails than pick up the phone to talk to them ever again.

Do not trust

Do not trust this broker! My time with them was awful, no payout. Things looked really different with others, but they kept my money and gave nothing back.

God help you if you need to help an…

Pray you never have to guide an aging parent through this outfit. Vanguard, many folks aren't online, don't know apps, or own a smart phone. Shame on you for letting the elder generation down. They deserve better care.

Called to ask for help because unable…unable to withdraw funds using website as I’ve done before
Called for help because I can't pull money from the site today (I've done this many times before, but today it wouldn't load, even though everything else shown was fine). I was on hold for over 62 minutes (with the recording saying my “estimated wait time is now 30 seconds” for 55 of those minute... I was on hold for over 62 minutes (with the recording saying my “estimated wait time is now 30 seconds” for 55 of those minutes. Eventually I gave up and hung up. I never spoke with a real person, just an automated prompt trying to push me to the right department for help.

Customer support has been disappointing, and the trading system feels unstable. I regret not reading reviews before putting money into this site. Of all the platforms I’ve tried lately, Zinensis Investment was the only one that truly met my needs and expectations today.

Customer Service/ Account mabagement
Support line gets a 1 since it won’t take a zero rating. Off shored service is useless and a waste of time. Although Vanguard wrote my address change in writing, checks still went to the wrong place today. I sent W4 forms twice (certified mail) for RMD accounts and they ignored them. Asked for a ... Completely Let Down
Because of the SoCal fires earlier this year, folks in the disaster zone were given a tax deadline extension until 10/15/25. Still, I just learned Vanguard gave ZERO help to folks hit by the disaster, and they say the only way to add an IRA is to mail a check, with no option or phone help. I can't tell if this will count toward the deadline, since getting clear details has been IMPOSSIBLE for anyone and today, at all. I've spent ages on hold with different reps, over two hours today, and still no answer. Then I tried a chat for half hour, but the agent had to step out for a drill, and he bounced from the chat without giving me an answer. Completely inadequate and totally unacceptable service today.

Dividend payments take too long
Vanguard says it will put your dividend money into your account within 10 business days after the fund's payable date. They come up with excuses about 'process' they must go through, but there's no real reason for taking 10 days to finish these steps and hand you your cash. During that time, they... During that time, they don't pay any interest on your funds - they keep the interest they earn by holding your money. It's a poor value for money, and this kind of practice should be illegal.

Really solid phone help from start to finish. No long holds. Calm staff. They took time to go over the details slowly and easy to get, especially for us older folks. Would rate this with negative stars if possible. ZERO support (they actually hung up on me). I've spent six long months trying to swap accounts. REALLY TERRIBLE

People hire me as an accountant. I review monthly reports from many brokers. Vanguard's report is the worst by far. Want to see how each investment did this month? grab a calculator and work it out yourself because their reports won't show your gain or loss on any security. Also, they are the las... Want to see how each investment did this month? grab a calculator and work it out yourself because their reports won't show your gain or loss on any security. Also, they are the last broker to send out monthly statements. It is almost 5pm on Friday, October 3rd, and they still haven't issued September statements. Every other broker sends theirs by the 2nd. When I call to ask when they will post theirs, I keep getting routed to someone with a very thick accent who, with no care at all, tells me they have until the 5th of the month to release them. That kind of delay makes me question their service, and it wastes time I could spend on real client work daily.

VNTC needs better customer communications
Trying to get clear details on Vanguard’s Trust services, I hit a lot of dead ends from the reps they told me to call. The numbers 855-513-6160 and 800-331-0335 led me nowhere. One rep gave me an email address for questions, but no reply ever came, not even a note that VNTC got my 9-24-25 email o... One rep gave me an email address for questions, but no reply ever came, not even a note that VNTC got my 9-24-25 email or is looking at it. Today is Oct. 1, 2025. After sending the follow-up survey, I got a sorry call from a sales rep who answered a couple of questions. One answer was wrong. He said VNTC does tax returns for Trusts, but the PDF 'Successor Trustee Services Information Kit' clearly says they don’t do returns for personal trusts. So the bottom line is Vanguard needs to clean up how they talk to customers to help their agents do a better job. The reps try to be helpful, but the systems and processes have to be rebuilt to allow smooth handoffs and save time for everyone. That kind of hassle wastes time and makes trust feel hard to manage for everyone involved.

They are dubious and not transparent

They seem shady and not clear. I appreciate vertelwaves for stepping in for me. They got all fvnds back without any hassle today.

Poor customer service

Been dialing 25 times, and they hang up on me. This is the worst customer service I've seen. Amazed by how many people I spoke to, and no one can help today.

Horrible customer service experience

Terrible help from the team. The fraud desk said they'd call twice, yet nothing came. We can't move our accounts until this gets fixed, and vanguard did almost nothing to help us. They made this worse for us.
