Avoid at all costs

I called the help desk several times but they couldn’t fix it Plus I was told there’s no cooling off period, so I’m stuck with this for a year When I rang customer care, the reps were harsh and scary DO NOT PICK THIS COMPANY Stay away anyway. Always.

I’d suggest staying away from these

I'd steer clear of these. They press you to sign a contract. They give 5 days to cancel, done within 24hrs, by then equipment already sent out. Then nonstop emails, texts etc about returning things I refused at all

What a brilliant customer service

Impressed with the support team. I had tried fixing my problem several times with little result. The agent got the issue right away and fixed it. Really pleased, truly. That made my day.

People warn you about next day payments, but ask about weekends first. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday still clear the bank only on Monday. I tried to make it fit for my shop, but it never did. I just spoke about canceling, and they said I can't cancel because I've only been with them 14 days. Total... People warn you about next day payments, but ask about weekends first. BEFORE MOVING ANYTHING TO TAKE TAKE…

RESEARCH THIS COMPANY FIRST BEFORE YOU HAND OVER ANY MONEY FOR PAYMENTS. THEY LINK WITH OTHER BANKS THAT WILL FOB YOU OFF AND LEAVE YOU WITHOUT ANSWERS. DON'T USE THIS FIRM, THAT'S MY ADVICE FOR YOU ALWAYS.

Terrible company

Horrible business. Avoid it. No help. System crashes. Payments vanished. Still waiting for a call from support, five days now, sadly.

A totally negative experience
Not a good start at all. I felt misled by their salesman in a few ways, and after the sale he ignored my calls and messages. The payment terminal failed to work, leaving me embarrassed when my client had to draw a big amount in cash after both Amex and Visa couldn't connect. I've cancelled the di... Not a good start at all. I felt misled by their salesman in a few ways, and after the sale he ignored my calls and messages. The payment terminal failed to work, leaving me embarrassed when my client had to draw a big amount in cash after both Amex and Visa couldn't connect. I've cancelled the direct debit and asked for the address to return the machine, but no address was given. Even though I ended the contract within 20 days for these reasons, they say I will be charged for the full minimum term of 18 months. That feels unfair and leaves me unhappy with the service overall, to me.

I know Takepayments are scammers. I alerted the trading standard and the financial ombudsman to probe.

UK worst company
This country has the worst company, I can't see how they stay open. They just want to take money from customers, I called, emailed and tried to explain my situation a lot, not one worker could help me with anything, and they are rude and full of themselves. They just want to take money from customers, I called, emailed and tried to explain my situation a lot, not one worker could help me with anything, and they are rude and full of themselves. Stay away from this awful firm, they will send someone to your door even if you did not agree, in my case I only asked for quotes and next day a man from Takepayments appeared at 9am at my door, nearly pressuring me to sign. Very unprofessional, they are in it just for money. They even used my details without a signed contract, be careful and don't give any of your information. I can't rate my experience with 0, but this is the worst firm I have ever dealt with, I hope they shut soon, taking advantage of people is not how a company should run. If you see their name, stay clear and tell friends to avoid them, because talking to them just wastes time and later you regret it. That was my bad luck with that place anyway.

Please don’t give your detail otherwise…

Try not to share any detail, or they’ll send a card machine without a contract and bill you; you won’t see that scam coming, so avoid them altogether.

Stay away from these people they got me to sign up over the phone which i did i ended up with three machines two for one company and one for another the two i never used during the last 4 month of my contract and they still called to renew it knowing i hadn't used them i thought i was renewing th... My card machine didnt work along side…

My card machine wouldnt sync with my epos setup, i rang them to sort it out. No one turned up to fix the fault. Still being billed. Best move is...head somewhere else now.

Don’t trust them they lie to you to…

Don’t trust them, they lie to you, grab your signature, and bug you every day with emails all time. Don’t give any info, or they will take money from your bank, even if you never agreed to it in fact….

This is very bad service

Really poor service here. My money is stuck in that machine for months now. They just sit there and do nothing. Very disappointing customer help. I believe this is the worst company in the UK. They waste your time and money. They don't care about buyers. Makes us cry today.

Avoid

Stay away from them. They bluff and mislead people to sign up. I've been around long enough to see this kind of trick, and they lie right in front of you. When you doubt things, they won't answer calls or act plain rude. Fees don't match what they say at sale. Not worth your time.

Joined up but didn't want a card machine, I rang several times with no answer and felt sure I was wasting time, then I found a WhatsApp contact who told me to email. So I canceled within the 5-day cooling off but still got missed calls and voicemails, and I couldn't ever reach anyone when I calle... So I canceled within the 5-day cooling off but still got missed calls and voicemails, and I couldn't ever reach anyone when I called back. Later I finally spoke to a really rude guy who I asked simply to confirm my cancellation email had come through and that the contract was canceled. He then tried to move me to another adviser who clearly wanted to keep me in the fold and push more crap on me. I told the first guy I did not want to be transferred since I had already given written notice by email. He said if I didn’t go through to this other operator my contract wouldn’t be canceled and the debt would be sent to a debt collector. I replied good luck with that and that I would see them in court. After around 20 minutes on hold I finally got through and guess what he asked—how they could keep me. I said my bank can handle payment links and QR codes for free. He said they can’t beat that and would send my details to his manager who would cancel the contract. What a total waste of time, because when you call in you actually press 4 for cancellations. Horrible attitude and a real bully; I’m just glad I got out within the 5-day cooling off window. Total waste, and I felt pressured the whole time, honestly throughout.
