Today the agent was really kind and careful, and Emily stood out brightly. As you may guess, we run into tech troubles now and then, not all days go smooth, but when it falters the paymentsense crew are always there to help me, they've got your back every time. As you may guess, we run into tech troubles now and then, not all days go smooth, but when it falters the paymentsense crew are always there to help me, they've got your back every time. They run a quick call line, so getting a real person is easy these days. You'll hear a warm, friendly voice that feels like help you can trust; in my books the team know their stuff, and every agent I've chatted with before has been sharp about the topic I needed. They answer fast, stay calm, and explain what matters in terms for me. There is almost never any wait, and if the machine ages, they replace it quickly with no fuss either. If Emily isn't picked as employee of the month or year, I would be bummed; she deserves five stars for every time she saved my day tonight.

Closed our account after 5 years for…
We cut the account after five years for no clear reason, despite paying them thousands of pounds on time and never missing a payment. Small shops are pushing hard these days, and to do this with no warning costs us a lot, since we suddenly had no card processing. Paymentsense blame the bank they ... We cut the account after five years for no clear reason, despite paying them thousands of pounds on time and never missing a payment. Small shops are pushing hard these days, and to do this with no warning costs us a lot, since we suddenly had no card processing. Paymentsense blame the bank they used, CLOVER. We have been seven days without a card machine, which has lost us customers; luckily our new EPOS system and reader arrive tomorrow. FINALLY, to top it off, CLOVER still have not paid the balance they owe, a petty crime in my view, and they get away with it, and I am sure what they did to small firms is not right. Stay away..... UPDATE 6/6/25 - ONE WEEK LATER, STILL NO MONEY PAID WHAT WE ARE OWED, and they were supposed to pick up the old card terminal on Monday the 2nd, then Thursday the 5th, but no one showed. And to make it worse, they took a direct debit today, Very fed up.

My account was cancelled overnight
Overnight my account was shut down with no warning at all. It happened because of a clash between clover and paymentsense, and poor handling plus no clear updates left me without access. They blame each other, no one says sorry or tries to fix it. Starting tomorrow my business cannot take card pa... Overnight my account was shut down with no warning at all. It happened because of a clash between clover and paymentsense, and poor handling plus no clear updates left me without access. They blame each other, no one says sorry or tries to fix it. Starting tomorrow my business cannot take card payments, which is a total mess. I feel abandoned and let down by paymentsense, and I regret ever using their services. This feels unfair, and I am worried about cash flow and customers now.

Exceptional Service

i don't usually post reviews, but my experience with Mr Darren Spence pushed me to share. from first contact to job finished, every moment was smooth and professional. Mr Spence was very knowledgeable, calmly answering every question. solid work and top quality i'm glad i found him.

PaymentSense doing updates at busiest trading times
During a lunch rush, PaymentSense started updates on my three terminals. We run a small but busy takeaway, and just minutes ago all three card machines quit. I rang for help and got told by customer support that it isn’t their fault, it’s Ingenico, the device maker. I used Ingenico before with Ba... During a lunch rush, PaymentSense started updates on my three terminals. We run a small but busy takeaway, and just minutes ago all three card machines quit. I rang for help and got told by customer support that it isn’t their fault, it’s Ingenico, the device maker. I used Ingenico before with Barclays Merchant Services and never had this issue. Then I was told it could be a power cut, but I explained I have CCTV, a PC, etc., and everything was running fine, so that wasn’t it, nor was my internet down. They said maybe a power surge... and they could only see one machine that had updated, not the other three, even though I said several times that all three failed at the same moment as updates and data loading. They kept saying they only see one. OMG! can PaymentSense give a bit more training for staff to actually listen to what the real complaint is? And if you don't 'see' that it happened on three machines, I'm telling you it did, don't ignore it and stick to 'I can see one machine only...' incredibly frustrating. Customers waited, orders piled up, and I had to explain the issue again and again while people grew hotter and hungrier. It felt like they ignored me.
