Dealing with this firm has been a nightmare. We're a new startup and they've kept our operating funds for nearly a week. Constant calls, yet not one person can tell us when the money will land, though it was said to be a same-day payout. More and more excuses, first it was backend problems, which... Dealing with this firm has been a nightmare. We're a new startup and they've kept our operating funds for nearly a week. Constant calls, yet not one person can tell us when the money will land, though it was said to be a same-day payout. More and more excuses, first it was backend problems, which they claimed were fixed days ago and shown on their site. Then they said older customers already got theirs, not new ones, and weekends have no supervisor. Next, on Monday, they blamed a public holiday in the head office state, which is past now and still no funds. You get shuffled between supervisors with no real answer or power to fix anything. This is how you crush a startup’s week one. I wouldn't suggest this company at all; it's a mess from the tech side to outreach, and trusting them with your money would be risky. If you value time, choose someone else. Their promises fade fast and the process never starts on time, leaving your plans to stall and fail for your business.

They wouldn't even help with refunds for customers who ordered and needed money back after our gateway was cut. The odd part is those same customers were told to file more chargebacks instead. We're a small e-commerce team and none of us knows the nitty gritty of fraud work. That kind of job is a full time thing at many shops when order flow is high. Since our distributor picked a hosting service that isn’t a real payment processor (worth noting, if possible to avoid), we lack a full team with both know-how and tools to spot risky buyers. If you go with Nuvei, you’re not just on your own—there’s no outreach to explain the issue or help stop future problems. They treat you poorly and that makes your customers more hassled, which can make you look as bad as Nuvei. We did not get any education from them on handling chargebacks or fraud signals. That gap hurts small teams because you rely on trial and error instead of solid guidance. We were left dealing with issues one by one, while the system kept blocking legitimate orders. Refunds became a mess, and the lack of support dragged out problems we could have fixed. In short, choosing Nuvei through a distributor meant fewer tools, slower action, and a worse ride for our customers. We would not recommend this setup to others who run small shops. If you can, switch to a real processor or change partners before you lose time and trust. Better to skip Nuvei if you can now.

I would rate it 10/10 for being clear, easy and quick. The rep I dealt with was awesome and fast with all messages. That smooth experience made me glad I switched. Would definitely tell friends to try.

We didn't even have a monthly service fee, what a mess. I finally gave up and will switch to a different option. The only reason I tried this company is because it was pitched as the Sage integration choice. Support kept saying different things, and every bill brought new hidden charges too. Please save yourself the hassle and look anywhere else!
