Stop Doing TikTok videos singing and get better software
All in all, Lavu feels like a basic system, and quite elementary. Their reports look nearly like a kid wrote them, and they are hard to read. Before we got the system, we asked for certain things they said they could do, but they didn't. So we stuck with it until I broke the contract to grab a di... All in all, Lavu feels like a basic system, and quite elementary. Their reports look nearly like a kid wrote them, and they are hard to read. Before we got the system, we asked for certain things they said they could do, but they didn't. So we stuck with it until I broke the contract to grab a different, more sensible setup. Kitchen tickets for many of our pies are a mess, and Lavu says that is how the software works. They don't have caller ID, so when a customer calls for delivery or pickup, we must ask for their info every time. I could go on, but you see the point. Please ask for proof they can do something or you can exit the contract. Two big issues come up when you call support: they say "Restaurants #1 POS"...what? I'd like to know where that gets legal approval, because it seems off. Most other POS shops hadn't heard of them, not even when I saw ads on Instagram...I bought into it. The iPads are too small, support folks are in India, and many times they are hard to understand...sorry. Not knocking them for being from India, but I don't want to chat with them on tough calls in a loud kitchen, though they are very nice. I did notice they post lots of TikTok videos. Maybe they should spend time on real software rather than trying to be cute. One girl in many clips acts like she runs a busy restaurant, which seems false. Overall, I hate this system. It doesn't work in my pizzeria for some key needs. The setup is slow to change, and orders get mixed up often. We lose time every shift because screens don't show the right info. Training was short, and new staff still mess things up. If I had a choice again, I would pass. We needed a system that fits a busy place and talks clearly. This one falls short on every basic need.

Company is absolute disgrace

Company is a total mess. They never pay the money they owe, and when it arrives it's the wrong amount. The system is a mess and the sales team has been rude and won’t fix what we need. Don't waste your time or money. Avoid this place, really avoid.
