Scammers Platform
Like others said, it is mostly scammers. Many firms are fake and they are not even in the same place they say. A known scammer is @Alice25868 who makes you pay for a sample item and then vanishes.

I've picked up lots of nice items from Global Sources, and I'm glad I found them. I met only one seller I couldn't trust, and one order took around six months to arrive, but the others arrived in roughly one to three months, since many shipments came by boat. I've been buying from Global Sources for roughly a year now. They reply quick to my emails when I have questions. Here's a list of the suppliers I bought from, with quick notes: BrightPeak Tech Co. (They moved my order quick) NorthBridge Textiles Ltd., Oceanline Carry Goods Co. Ltd., Windshore Travel Goods Co. Ltd. (Fory was very nice to deal with and the product was nice) Nova Import & Export Co. Ltd. (They aren't with Global anymore), Xiamen Prime Imports & Exports Co. Ltd., Silkway Garment Accessories Co. Ltd. (Annie was pleasant to deal with, and the product was nice) Forest Packaging Shanghai Group Co. Ltd. (Easy to work with and the product was nice), and True Seller Co., Ltd. (Two orders took around six months). That is my quick take on suppliers and delivery, mostly smooth, with a few slow moments. Overall, I would still buy from them.

I got duped by a seller who hit me up on watsapp because of this site. I had a gut feel, so I placed a small order of $200, but after paying he asked for more for a 'refundable shipping insurance'. I asked for a quote from one seller on the site, and I got a bunch of watsapp chats from Ukrainian suppliers. They all act like Zelensky, just chasing more cash!! Global Source should fix this and warn others before more are hurt.
Too many vendors here feel shady, avoid this place. GlobalSources does zero checking for the sellers on this site. I asked for quotations, and all twenty were fake, scammy quotations. Don't waste your time, seriously, for real!!

Through Global Sources we found suppliers for our store. The site’s verification system helped us dodge risky deals. Product quality and prices were fair. I’d give five stars if the search tools were easier to use, but I recommend it to serious buyers.

Company listing showed SAKILLET LIMITED, HK addresses, hongkong-qi-ou-co-limited. Address read ROOM 605, 6/F, FA YUEN BUILDING, 75-77 FA YUEN STREET, MONGKOK... Too many fake suppliers try to hit you. I got burned paying 2600 USD for an IPHONE from a seller calling AURORA, with hengsuhs058gmail.com. That global outfit floods inboxes with daily junk mail, they add unsubscribe links at the bottom of lists, yet they ignore unsubscribe requests, which is illegal and has been documented by authorities.

Lots of suppliers to choose from is a nice perk, but shipping fees stay a bit high. I bought yoga mats, and customers liked them even with the late delivery, overall anyway.

Great Experience at Globalsources Consumer Electronics HK Show
I had a nice time using GlobalSources.com to find wholesale goods. I checked out CES in Hong Kong, and I was impressed! The event showed cool products and linked me with trustworthy suppliers. Site is easy to use, though some seller replies could be quicker. Overall, truly very satisfied!
