It sure feels like the system stacks up against you. Reading other reviews, same bad ride shows it's real. Avoid this firm. Take my word, avoid them.
Completely dodgy! They close orders at levels they can't hit, before the tool dumps, just to dodge paying! In my eyes, Absolute thieves!

Do not trade CFD’s there
Stay away from CFD trading there, the setup seems to push you to fail every time. I tried twenty scenarios and lost all of them, and my buddy did the opposite moves at the same moment today and also lost too.

I joined XTB after they said I could get an Uber share when I signed up. That perk was the only bright part. The first setup needed manual verification and dragged on for about three business days. That perk was the only bright part. The first setup needed manual verification and dragged on for about three business days. To give context, I opened two banks lately and automated checks ran fine. They asked for more data, which I sent right away. Another three days passed before the account was usable. My adviser called to say hello and promise help, which sounded hopeful. When I reached out to him and support about the delays and if anything could be done, I heard nothing back. I tried general support, waited a week, then tried again with both groups. Now another couple weeks pass with zero replies. I plan to close the account, since taking money out is a mess. You must submit a form for manual review, give your sort code and account number, plus a full bank statement. Why they need a bank statement to send money back to an already verified account is beyond me. NO other UK platform requires this, which makes it feel fishy. The whole setup feels half-baked and the lack of support with odd rules makes it seem untrustworthy. I'd suggest sticking with an established broker instead of playing unpaid beta tester for XTB's still unfinished service. I kept checking my inbox, but there was nothing. I expected help, not silence, and I am tired of the slow pace. If this stays, I will move on else.
Nice, clean interface on the app, plenty of chances to buy a mix of stocks and commodities, and a generous free share offer. Overall, pleased with how the platform works.

This is by far the worst trading platform
This platform is the worst trading site I've used, hands down. I joined thinking it was a clever way to start investing, with a free Uber share promo on ongoing. This platform is the worst trading site I've used, hands down. I joined thinking it was a clever way to start investing, with a free Uber share promo on ongoing. I signed up, slogged through their long setup, deposited what they asked, and guess what? No free share for me. I messaged support, and they said the promo is only for a few customers. I asked for a small goodwill gesture since a Rolls Royce share was still advertised, but they said I'm not a new user and won't get any. Withdrawing my own money was a chore; they drag it out as long as possible. Bank statements, extra IDs, more delays just to reach MY OWN funds. I hope this site shuts down so its real rivals win business. Every step felt slow and confusing. Support replies were late or ignored. I'm done with this; hope others choose better. Avoid this if you want simple money moves.
After trying many brokers like avatrade and etoro, I found this one really very solid, and nothing else feels the same. It's built by its users, and they plan features this year that, if real, could make it the best broker worldwide for many traders and beginners alike.

Wish i could rate this company zero stars. No free shares - T&Cs unclear on their advertisements on the London underground. Getting verified takes ages - such a waste of time for me.

market watch tool acts up, no help around. when the market heats, this site slows bad, responsiveness just goes away...very unprofessional, shady mood from this firm, I don't know wat to think anymore.

Pick a better trustworthy trading platform
I nearly joined a trading site after seeing a sign up offer for a free £70 stock when you deposit any amount (I put in £1). The sign up process took forever to approve everything, so by the time I finished, they said the promotion had ended. I think it was just a scam to grab data and push people... I chose to leave my £1 in, since they ask too many details to withdraw funds. More details than any other platform asks. I have taken out big sums from etoro, coinbase and trading 212 before, and never gave this much data. Then I messaged their chat to close my account (oh, and they reply fast, but they are useless and cant really help you). They said I needed to send an email, which I did, and it was ignored. I kept chasing them many times and still got no reply. Today I went back to live chat to say this must be fixed and they said I could file a formal complaint. I called the number they gave, and it does not work. I cant believe this firm runs things, with so much competition around. Hope they won't stay long, and people pick better options for now.
Pretty pleased with xtb. I earned a free share when I joined and the app is easy to use. There are many learning resources that help you learn investing. Great experience overall, for me today.

XTB France, shame on you
I want to give 1 star to XTB France for not trying to fix a bug in their system that stopped me from verifying my identity and opening an account with them. And worse, they asked for my nationality(which is not french) just to tell me they couldn't help me. They just couldn't fix the flaw in thei... I wonder if I had a french nationality, would they then be able to fix the problem. I'm sure they'd. This delay cost me time and shows they won't help folks who aren't french. Shame on you.
Trusted and simple platform. Withdrawals go smooth, and help desk answers quick. Very pleased with XTB!

New view on this online broker Sadly, this trading platform has more flaws than I expected. A major letdown. One of the worst and most unfair brokers I’ve used. I’ve traded with XTB for years, alongside others, and I have lost a lot because of how XTB runs things; they seem to be pros at how to ... New view on this online broker Sadly, this trading platform has more flaws than I expected. A major letdown. One of the worst and most unfair brokers I’ve used. I’ve traded with XTB for years, alongside others, and I have lost a lot because of how XTB runs things; they seem to be pros at how to cheat traders as much as they can. Of course I bear some fault for the losses, and the wild market rules in recent years didn’t help. "It could be a decent broker, but it isn’t." Here are a few clear mistakes, which are facts: - poor international support; - after years of use I raised issues many times, left notes and tips, to no avail; - the Europe platform stays unstable, with freezes and glitches that still happen (especially when big data comes in and it tries to load servers; - undersized servers; - regular exits, restarts even on the most powerful computers and 5G broadband internet; - high minimum investment amounts in each instrument (this year they finally improved it somewhat, but not by much). In the case of other brokers, the minimum amounts for which we can buy a part of an instrument are lower; - faulty, bad, disadvantageous hedge management (in the case of a negative balance or even a positive, but not sufficiently high balance, it often does not allow the counterparty to buy, which often results in extraordinary losses; - a big gripe: giving 1 year expiry on assets that aren’t real futures but spot-like tools. Trader doesn’t pick when to close. The expiry often lands at a bad moment. Real futures should be clear and labeled! We see expiry and expect it. - Unmodern web application and platform, few analysis tools, cumbersome operation; - Difficult portfolio management, closing, it is easy to miss the quick closing of the position; - Not modern and intuitive chart indicator enough; - Many tools and instruments are not available; - Closed news, which are tied to registrations, are often not available in the given language afterwards (this is promised during registration); - Narrower trading hours for many indices and stocks, so there is no pre- and postmarket access. These are just the most important. Obviously there are advantages and things that work well, but pretty much every competing broker knows them. I'm sorry, because it could really be a very good platform and broker if it weren't only driven by profit. I don’t recommend it to beginners. If you still try it, keep goals small and watch balance. There is little support and many tools are missing, so plan ahead. If you go in, don’t rely on quick replies or fixes. Look elsewhere for easier start and risk. But if you want a tough test, this shows it.
