Unreliable Service and Missing License
I got billed twice for the PDF-XChange Editor Single User License on October 11, 2025. One payment went through, yet I never got a license or activation code. Help replies were slow and weak. I'm talking with European consumer protection authorities about this, to stop the company from selling products in the EU if this keeps happening. Buyers should watch FastSpring closely. Tell the FTC, IC3, and BBB about similar cases. Hope this helps others avoid trouble altogether.
Unable to complete purchase along with many others
I can't finish the buy through Fastspring for an Akai upgrade today. None of the checkout options (GPay, CC, PayPal, etc.) seem to work for many trying to buy, as forum posts from days show. Vague error messages and canned replies from Fastspring don't inspire confidence. They're about to lose my... I can't finish the buy through Fastspring for an Akai upgrade today. They keep failing at checkout with some vague message saying payments aren't being accepted right now. I don't get why brands use their service at all, it just feels broken.

Absolutely terrible
Really awful experience. We run a cloud software as a service plan. After more than two years, the vendor froze our account for a verification check, even though we were cleared when we started. No heads-up, no info requests, and now, more than a week later, they still won't reactivate. Unaccepta... Really awful experience. We run a cloud software as a service plan. No heads-up, no info requests, and now, more than a week later, they still won't reactivate. Unacceptable, since customers are furious, new clients call saying the site is down and we’re stuck waiting while our ticket sits in IT limbo. No phone help, nothing live to talk to, just a basic email box to send requests and hope. We deserve better after all the money they’ve taken from us. We expected fair handling, a real contact line, and clear updates instead of this slow, silent drift.
They replied fast and they were so helpful & never made me feel I’m asking too much, I really like how cooperative they were with, thanks to all the brothers at this company, even if one person spoke up there are many people in one team today together

Tax exempt - very fast refund
These people handle issues pretty fast, no delay. I work with many payment gateway firms facing the same tax exempt snag, and I must say this crew processes tax refunds quicker than rest by far!

Waiting for the Family Tree 2024 DVD has dragged on for ages. If you can't mail it but still list it, that feels like a scam. Please either ship the DVD or return the money I paid. Is your store in the BBB, right now?

FastSpring used to be a nice place to handle sales, but that changed after the buyout a few years back. The new crew got greedy and wants sellers to pay $150 a year just to "verify" who you are. Crazy idea! Stay away from them - try someone else to sell your stuff. ADDENDUM: They took a payment ... Crazy idea! Stay away from them - try someone else to sell your stuff. ADDENDUM: They took a payment request for one item in May and I still haven't been paid (it's July 9, long past due). They also blocked me from changing my products on FastSpring or contacting support. If you check other comments here, you'll see about half call FastSpring a 1-star company. So don't be fooled, even if the service seems okay at first - you can't count on it continuing. I stopped using them myself and looked elsewhere for next sale. The delay and blocks cost me time and trust, so I tell friends to avoid this platform. Ignore this, try another option.
