Scammed by seller and DHGate
Found myself buying a RAM stick from DHGate because it was the only store selling it. When the RAM arrived I noticed it was CL38, not CL30 as listed, and after trying it the PC wouldn’t boot. I tried several fixes and ended up sure the module was faulty since it worked fine with other sticks. Because it didn’t work and didn’t match the listing I asked for a refund. I sent photos and videos of the fault, but the seller ignored my refund request so I raised the issue with DHGate. I sent proof to DHGate support but they said they couldn’t see anything wrong with the item. The pictures and video I sent clearly showed the problem, but after some back and forth I asked to return it. Support said yes and I tried to return, but customs paperwork was required which I didn’t have. I asked the seller for the documents and they ignored me. I told support, and all my messages were ignored too, and time ran out and the payment was released to the seller. Days later the seller replied saying that since I live in Portugal I can’t return it to them. I mentioned this to support but there was no reply. Bottom line: I was scammed out of my money, and DHGate support left my messages on read. I won’t shop here again! I asked for help again, but nothing changed, so I write this to warn others about shopping here!

I bought a few things and it said the seller would ship within 72 hours and take 3-7 days, usually. I placed the order on 13th august and it still hasn’t shipped! I messaged them and they just kept saying ‘we’ll ship it soon’ and ‘we’ll arrange delivery’ but never gave a date, any time now. So I ... So I asked to cancel so I could buy elsewhere (for an event) and they refused, saying ‘goods are ready and no refunds’ but that was four days ago. Now the shipping deadline is moved to the end of October again! I paid 30 days with Klarna for this reason, but that won’t start until they ship, and I don’t want to order elsewhere and risk double. So I’m stuck waiting and it feels ridiculous every day now, really. Seller is DHgatekings - avoid!!!!

Bad tracking and the seller ignores my messages. I would not use this company! Dispute note: the seller says the item is lost and might be sent again. DHGate and seller "zhangdaren_watches" are AWFUL
That marketplace stinks. Do not trust the seller "zhangdaren_watches," they are shady and the site does nothing to curb dodgy activity. The links labeled "Customer Service" lead you in circles. The watch I got doesn't run and it is a fake copy of a famous brand. The return setup makes you pay shi... That marketplace stinks. I've had much better luck with Ali Express and Temu. Not worth the risk for any watch shopper these days.

I needed new stock for my store and used a DHgate seller, asking for fast air shipping since I was running low. A week later I learned the order went out by a slow method that would take 60 days. I spoke up, and she said to place another order and she would switch to express. I said no because yo... I needed new stock for my store and used a DHgate seller, asking for fast air shipping since I was running low. A week later I learned the order went out by a slow method that would take 60 days. I spoke up, and she said to place another order and she would switch to express. I said no because you already let me down once. I showed DHgate chat operator the listing that still showed express delivery. She filed a report and told me to start a dispute after a few days. I did, but by then the seller had swapped the listing to show a 60 delivery instead of the original express (1-2 weeks). The dispute person who later looked it over missed this and said it was 60 delivery. Along the way the seller said the reason they shipped via this new method is because the goods are counterfeit and this method avoids detection by authorities. I now realised that the goods are not genuine so there was no way I was going to accept delivery so I pointed this out to the dispute person who just ignored it. I asked the seller to reroute her consignment as it will not be accepted but she refused. Sometime later I refused delivery. The dispute person sided with her, saying I refused to accept delivery. I'm not going to take delivery of dangerous counterfeit goods. I lost $380 but reported it to the credit card company who are looking at it. DHgate is an absolute joke. Count on them to lie about timing and fake items always. Please avoid‼️‼️‼️

Terrible online shop! After you get your package you lose any right to return, even if it's not what you ordered or fits. P.S. Your replies are useless since I spoke to you many times and with the seller and nothing changes; you just lie to me. There is no real help here.

Refusing to refund me after I got agreement evidence
Trying my best to get a seller to send the order I paid for has not worked. The seller won’t ship it, so I reached out to DHgate, and they said I should ask the seller to agree to a full refund, and then DHgate would refund me. Now DHgate won’t refund me, they kept my money, and they refuse even though the seller agreed and canceled the order. People, you should stay away from these places because their rule is to refund when this happens, but they won’t refund me. They just take people’s cash all the time. I think I need to report this to trading standards and probably the police because it’s not right—the plan is: get the seller to agree, and then we refund you, not the other way. It’s my cash and the order is canceled, so that money belongs to me. Yes, I do have the order number to prove it’s canceled and that a refund was agreed—look, you’ll see it, so no excuses about why you’re keeping my funds. I sent proof, I kept chats, I waited days and still nothing, and this is not fair to buyers who trust these sites to fix issues, not steal money from honest folks. Order number is 312741814513.

DO NOT BUY FROM DHGATE
I rarely post reviews for shops, but this place is junk. We ordered a men's shirt my son liked from their site. Then we got many emails saying it stayed in our cart, yet they already charged us. Then the package finally shipped, straight from China, and took around three weeks. I wish I had listened to other buyers, this stuff is not worth the price or the wait. The shirt was the cheapest junk I've ever seen. Awful fabric, cheap buttons. When we tried to send it back, they refused our refund. DO NOT BUY FROM DHGATE!!!

Very disappointed with DHGate
Very upset with DHGate, I placed an order on 7-14-25 from "Popular_District" store for a Mawl laser-C1, By 7-30-25 I still had no tracking. On 8-1-25 they told me it sits at the post office, and to wait for the post office to update. I did my own digging and found it stuck at Yanwen Express trans... Too many folks post bad reviews, but I'm a fan. I really like DHGate. I shop there about every 3 weeks. In total I've done 37 orders and only one was rough.
