You’d think Vinted are bad, but these folks make them look professional—avoid at all costs. I regret wasting my time completely.

Waiting 15 days to receive refund
Not ideal, Some folks send fake tracking numbers. Then you end up waiting 5-10 days to get your money back, plus the extra days waiting for the seller to ship the item. Altogether it takes about 15 days to refund me, and that feels awful. Not acceptable. I expected quicker help, not a long hassle.

Depop has a lot of nonsense between sellers and buyers, which you kinda expect in a free market app, but what really helps is that the support crew are real people and the feedback actually matters. I think the company should keep that setup, avoid AI and automation, or the whole thing will crumb... Now they ignore their 10 day rule. I bought an item Oct 8, it’s been 9 days and the time sensitive thing hasn’t shipped. I was ready to ask for a refund today, but I saw depop moved the refund date to the 25th, giving the seller 17 days to ship without my knowledge or consent. This feels wrong, it’s clearly unfair. Beware of the five star reviews that never faced issues because whether a company is good or not depends on how they handle hiccups and their own rules. depop does not honor its own policy. This is a real problem for both buyers and sellers alike. That mess makes buying and selling feel risky and stressful, especially when the clock and rules don’t line up, which really bugs me.

Depop has no seller protection, no openness, and no integrity. They let scammers use the refund system while punishing real sellers who follow the rules. I’ve lost my account, my sale, and my trust in this place. If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away from Depop. They’ve built a model that punishes honesty and protects fraud. Absolute joke of a company. ⭐ Rating: 0/5 – Avoid like the plague.
Shopping on Depop a lot, I keep it simple. A few hiccups popped up, yet most were sorted in my favor. My two daughters also use Depop.

Now I see it makes no sense— when a seller posts something you see the total fees, shipping, etc.— that’s how Vinted works, I’ve sold there. But even if it was similar, what’s my fault about Depop fees? At the time I worked far from home, I’d return every three weeks. I bought a lot then, so when I got home a stack of boxes waited for me. I searched for the boots, nowhere to be found. Maybe the mugs were delivered to the wrong place or left in some 'safe spot,' as many firms do. I went through emails to find the receipt and see what happened. I found it, saw she hadn’t replied, and I tried to message HELPGING CENTRE? – no, HELPER CENTRE. To my surprise—they said I CANT open a dispute, because it’s too old (about three weeks since order). I didn’t check her reply, figured she did reply, but she didn’t. As a buyer, those 32£ are gone. Now I think she used it as a lie to scam me, and I suspect she did it before. She knew there’s no option to refund a buyer. Does that make sense? And that’s when my time with Depop ended. This kind of person is silly (the seller and the Depop team). They think they win with small tricks, but karma catches up. And whatever we give to the world, it comes back. I wish them well, no hate, just money. So guys, if you ever face this, tell the story too. I hope I’ve saved some future victims.

When the ban was lifted, there was no apology or heads up about what happened. I still felt burned and removed the app for good.
