Terrible treatment of drivers here. They label us 1099 workers yet fine us for skipping orders that waste time, cash, gas and wear on the car. Nobody sane in this economy wants to drive 18 miles to a customer and back for three dollars. Really unfair.

I only found out the real story after the relative was arrested, jailed, and finally confessed to it all. There were several acts of identity theft linked to me, like loans, lines of credit, and money apps that work the same way as this one. I contacted doordash, explained everything, and sent proof of his arrest, plus pictures of him and me that show we look alike and a letter where he admits it. That should be enough for them to lift the deactivation, right? Then I spent about two hours on two calls with customer service; both times I was told my account was being reset, to wait a day and then log back in to finish onboarding. But nothing changed. This time they said the ban would stay and they didn't need to tell me why. It feels very unfair when all I ask for is the same chance everyone else got, nothing more, nothing less, and they told me two times that's what I'd get, then flipped it and said no, not happening. It's not right, doordash, not right at all. Right now I just want to start fresh with the same chances as others, without the fear of more fake debts piling up, and I want clear rules that help people prove who they are when a bad family move tries to ruin them. This is not the way to treat customers.
Support failed again with my dashes payments, so I called in and got handed to Dasher Direct, and I just tried to lay out my issue, but some rude person talked over me and hung up. These folks are straight up a drag on the business. It's why many Dashers quit. Actually, it's the main reason why Dashers leave. Totally awful. The worst in the field. Disrespect has set the bar low with these workers. I'm tired of the same issues daily.
That business ILLEGALLY declined to refund two UNAUTHORIZED charges from my account! They were RUDE, and I will NEVER use them again! They are PATHETIC and just your typical FOREIGN company!

Do not use Dasher app as a driver
Stick with Uber Eats and never again touch this junk app. Stores closed blame falls on the driver. Stores won’t take orders, same driver blame. Doordash steal, horrible customer service, condescending you name it
With DoorDash I tried to grab Taco Bell. I was trying to place an order but Everytime I hit submit it kept showing error after error. So I checked my cart and the food vanished from it. She spoke no English and I told her several times I did not want the second bag since it was a mistake. She refused to return the order. I reached out to support twice and they told me I had two orders and I must pay for them; first, your system had a glitch and because of that two orders went through, and your driver would not take the order I did not want. I tried returning the food to Taco Bell and they denied a refund BECAUSE THE ERROR WAS THE DOORDASH SYSTEM! DoorDash called but of course I was at work. I tried contacting them again and all they gave was the same story. I’ll be contacting corporate. DoorDash has taken my money and I want it back. This mess ruined my day and I want a full refund now, no excuses.
Honestly they are useless and I am just waiting for the pending charge to drop off, which takes 10 to 15 business days... We don’t have that kind of time. They won’t reverse the charges. Any other bank would fix this and return your money that you earned, but they don’t. It’s outsourced customer ... I’ll grab any real job I can find, but for now this is what I survive on, and tying up my money is a real consumer hazard, leaving me broke and desolate. This really keeps me stuck daily.
I'm a driver and its cheap here. I havnt got an order in weeks, never a buck per mile.

I tried 3 times to sign up for my card. The system told me my soc. was wrong. I got cut off 3 times, and the last rep told me to check my email, then hung up right away today.

I'm a TOP dasher on door dash 4.7…
I'm a top dasher on DoorDash, with about 4.7 reviews and near 100 dashes, apart over two weeks. Also spent a week on calls trying to fix why one day's earnings say deposited but not deposited. Now I try to pull 12.50$ from fast pay, but it won't let me cash out after all rules I met. Six differen... They said check back tonight, then in the morning, and if it still won't work, I gotta call again. With Easter weekend here I can't touch the 200$ I spent on gas to make 177, and that won't come for a week. DoorDash are THIEFS!!! Uber Eats instead! DoorDash folks lie and won't be upfront, trying to force more dash time for less pay. Don't waste time trying to earn daily money like the ad says!! Plus the support kept saying they would help, but many couldn't understand my questions. I want a local person to talk to, a higher one. They said call back in 2 days and help, doubt that! I grind every day, chasing pay that never seems to show up on time. The extra miles and gas cost eat into my week's money. If there is no fix soon, I will drop this app. This whole mess makes me question why I even stay on it. I need faster, honest help now.

I won't deliver again for Doordash. A bunch of scammers, and I will sue them. Their customer support is rude and outsourced from India to me personally.
Being a DoorDash driver is rough when you need help from chat support. The Dasher team seems careless, they don’t push to fix things or find a real answer. When a question can’t be solved, instead of asking for more help or bringing in a supervisor, the agents bail on you and let the five minute ... I wish I could share screenshots of chats with different agents to show how it kept cutting out and coming back, and how long it went with no one helping me... that said, driving for DoorDash is fine until you actually need Dasher Support. That support shows clearly how the company values its drivers. If you expect quick help, you may wait in vain, because replies rarely come and you are left staring at a blank chat box for hours.
