Fraud alert - NOT Chat GPT direct service
What I bought looked like a near exact copy of ChatGPT, and I paid thinking it was the real direct ChatGPT. IT IS NOT. I cancelled immediately and asked for a refund. They refused, so I had to file a fraud claim with my credit card.

My run with chatbot.app turned out to be a total scam. I accidentally bought their yearly Premium plan, thinking it was ChatGPT. I caught the mistake right away and asked for cancellation and a full refund the same day, well inside the 7-day window their policy shows. Even though I met all rules... Even though I met all rules (less than 7 messages sent and under 7 days), they ignored my request. They won’t process my refund and just stop replying. Their so-called “customer support” is just a dummy bot giving generic replies and making it hard to talk to a real person. This company takes money, withholds the service, and won’t return the payment. Their billing feels shady, and their help team seems built to wear you down until you give up. 🚫 I warn everyone: do not trust chatbot.app. They play on the ChatGPT mix-up, lure people to sign up, then block any refunds or real help. Save your cash, skip the hassle, and look for real options that actually respect buyers. I hope others dodge this trap and find true support fast online.

Not OpenAI! I was tricked and charged twice.
I got billed by chatbot.app in March and August 2025, not realizing it wasn't the real ChatGPT from OpenAI. The look and branding are very close to OpenAI, and names like 'GPT-5' made me think this was an official product. Back in August, I believed my GPT plan had ended and I typed my card detai... Back in August, I believed my GPT plan had ended and I typed my card details again to renew it. Only later did I see I had paid this third-party site again. This meant I paid twice, unknowingly. I have emailed them for a full refund and will report it if they ignore me. Please be careful — this is not tied to OpenAI, and the experience feels very misleading. Hope others watch out and stay careful, because this hurt me and I want others to know.

My experience with chatbot.app was a total nightmare. I signed up for their basic plan, but they billed me for an extra package without asking. Yes, really: they canceled service and did not return a penny. Days have gone by and I cannot reach them. Their support bot is useless, looping the same canned replies, and you can't talk to a real person. It even says the payment 'unsuccessful' when the charge is clearly there on my card. Honestly, the whole thing feels shameless: they bill you, wipe out your plan, keep the cash, and mess with support to wear you down. I would not recommend this company and I suggest you look for services that actually respect customers. Their billing looks shady at best, and their help team seems built to dodge real fixes. Save yourself the trouble and pick another option. I am done with this company. Hopefully you find something that treats customers better. ReintentarClaude puede cometer errores. At this point I want a fix that never comes, and I feel like the company hides behind bots rather than face real complaints, so I tell everyone to steer clear today and seek better service.

Terrible AI platform, misleading marketing
Awful AI site and the ads mislead at best and a flat out scam at worst. Support never replies when I ask for a refund. Compare this to real AI tools and it falls short. Save your cash and stay away from this service.

They mislead people
This site copies ChatGPT’s look almost perfectly, so similar. I was tricked into signing up for a plan. When I tried the help button, nothing happened at all. Luckily I asked Paddle for a refund, hoping money returns soon. I wish the scammers get what they deserve, and this ends badly.

To date, I have received no reply or refund. This company ignores refunds and uses lookalike names to fool users. That is unfair and not acceptable, so I warn others. Please avoid this service. I want others to know not to trust them online.

Not real AI. This app does not do what it says. I tried a search with ChatGPT directly and then with Chatbot.App. The second one gave a clearly worse reply. I asked for my money back, and tech help answered by showing how to stop the renewal but stayed quiet about the refund. I replied again, ask... Not real AI. This app does not do what it says. This app is fraudulent.
This app feels fake and junk. I bought it thinking it was like ChatGPT. It is not. It is a poor AI. The replies in their GPT-4o and others are not close to the real ones.
