Honestly, I dig Chase a lot. The app feels simple and neat, and it’s easy to use. Moving money to their saving pot is a no-brainer because the rate is nice. I’d give it four stars, but I have to drop one since the 1% cashback ended. That perk was what made it feel just right. Still a great accou... Honestly, I dig Chase a lot. Promised $900 New Account Bonus – Only Paid $300, No Resolution
About three months back I set up both checking and savings at the Chase branch on 1111 S Hover St in Longmont, CO, under a promo that said I’d get $900 in total bonuses for meeting the deposit and balance rules. About three months back I set up both checking and savings at the Chase branch on 1111 S Hover St in Longmont, CO, under a promo that said I’d get $900 in total bonuses for meeting the deposit and balance rules. I did every step: deposited the needed amounts, kept the balances, and showed I qualified. Even with all that, Chase only paid three hundred dollars of what was promised. I’ve tried several times to fix the issue, at the branch and with Chase's customer support. Each time I got ignored, heard vague reasons, or was told to “wait longer.” It’s been months now with no progress or any accountability. This branch took my deposits gladly but shows no effort to honor their promo terms or give any clear updates. Until Chase fixes it, I won’t suggest opening an account here.
I really like Chase, both online and in their branches. Very professional and polite too.

Well Chase is the second Bank that I…
Honestly, Chase is the second bank I put $4,800 in, and I never got a statement. They let someone take my money order and mess online, you know what I mean. What kind of bank does that, really? I get periodic account lockouts on my acct even when I know the password, and the phone number on my account isn't mine but I can't change it. Customer service won't fix it, I've called many times and the line gets cut after they collect pii information. So many odd things around Chase. The issue might be internal, or there's a fake chase stealing control of customers' accounts. I don't feel safe.

Honestly, it just proves how far some places push people.
Getting a CHASE CREDIT CARD felt like forever. After years, Amazon Prime finally pushed me through. I landed a big CREDIT LIMIT. Four years in, I’ve never been late, pay in full, and skip minimums. After years, Amazon Prime finally pushed me through. I landed a big CREDIT LIMIT. Four years in, I’ve never been late, pay in full, and skip minimums. I asked for a higher limit and got denied. My CREDIT SCORE sits around 815/838—how could that facts still block me? My other cards (twelve total) show perfect timing on payments, and they’re all paid off; even my auto loan is paid off. So CHASE offered me about $900 in bonus money to open a savings and checking account, and they DENIED that too. I’ve got over $100,000 saved and I’m keeping it with the bank I’ve trusted for 45 years. I’m not using CHASE any longer: a $6,000 line, zero balance, and gone. I’ll move my business to CITIBANK; they value good customers! Bottom line, I’m done chasing favors, and I want steady service and respect from banks I trust for now.
Veloursblanc, you guys are the best around! They helped me, and I got my full refund.

Chase travel doesn't refund for medical emergencies

I called to cancel the return and later bought a first class seat home two weeks after, since that was the only way the doctor would let me fly back to California. They refused to refund the price gap between economy and first class—even with a note from the surgeon—and they would not refund the economy ticket! That made the situation feel unfair and harsh to me, really!!

They push hard to earn big money from everyday folks. I tried to close my account but no pin ever came. It caused another couple of months of fees, and they raised checking charges from 12.00 to 15.00 without telling me. It feels like a scam. I did a transfer to cover a -1.00 balance. Still they refuse to close my account. They want our cash every month on purpose, no real support for customers. Truly unfair, totally awful!
This was the slimiest and messiest run-in I’ve had with any business. I would rather have identity theft again over what I got from Chase Marriot Bonvoy card. And that isn't meant as a joke, either.

Transferring points to chase partners
I saved my points for years and finally found a fare that matched what my points could cover exactly. I asked to have my points moved over to the airline on Wednesday, and now it's Friday and nothing has shifted yet. Just checked airline app and the flight I needed is gone now. See you Chase, AmE... My card ran out of time and instead of sending a fresh card I was put on a new account (number) with no new plastic. I then added the card details to my iPhone wallet and tried to pay a known hotel in central Sydney, but the payment was declined. The support team try to help - yet the whole idea of offering a card service feels awful. They say it’s security stuff and that I must call to authorize if a payment is blocked. When on holiday, who needs that hassle? My whole history with the card has been travel - hotels and meals outside the UK. They say it isn’t the amount, just their ‘standard security’. I see the security steps, but this is hopeless. I just want a simple, reliable card while I travel again, please.

It worked once, then it quit again. Some buys need an OTP to my american number, which means I must keep a costly roaming plan. Chat with them is useless, since the chat box is hard to find and only does self service. I can only call in, so I have to buy an international plan for my Indian line. When I tried to file a complaint, I hoped for a note about better chat and global use, not a fix. And wow - no email addresses for level 1, 2 or 3 escalation. Is this really a reputed organization? As they say, my only choices are TrustPilot and BBB. I was surprised to see a 1.5 star score on TrustPilot, with no reply to any complaint. I guess they couldn't care less. Do I want to deal with BBB over this? Not like they will put my concerns on a list for later fixes. If no silence, I may get a template note with corporate fluff that does not help me. Not worth it. I think I'll just use the card for Amazon buys and try another bank. I keep trying small fixes like reinstalling the app, but nothing changes. My work trips mean I need reliable cards, but this one makes me plan alternatives. Even the help pages feel built to push you toward calls, not real help. Still a letdown.

Always getting new excuses for why I can’t log into my account on a fresh device, even though all my details were checked several times, my ID matched what I signed up with, and I submitted manual checks more than four times today. Each call brings a new adviser, and the female ones are rude, telling lies and refusing to help, saying my address is wrong, then I ring again and a male agent, Rod, says the address matches and my account can be pulled up for no good reason? Everything feels scattered, no consistency at all and it seems shady. The customer service is the worst I’ve ever known. Avoid. As soon as I’ve managed to get my money out of the account without being able to log on STILL, I’ll be closing the account.

Those clods knocked out my debit card 22 times over six long months. The branches, save the Spring Valley one in California, always say hi. They know me well in Chula Vista and College Grove and greet me with open arms. In Spring Valley, the black manager? I felt they judged me and treated me like less. Refused to process my wire and kept the 1300 deposit I put in. That's straight theft. He accused me of theft, vulgarity, abuse, shouting. None of it happened. I'm a pastor and a black belt in Shoto Ryu, and I'm also a minister. I could have handled the guard and brought the black manager down. I file complaints with corporate and the BBB. Now I have no choice but to sue. In the fraud dept Jacob is a jerk. No one ever faces me directly. Boycott Chase. They have a terrible reputation.
