Absolutely horrible
Totally awful experience. No refunds after joining. It took half an hour to cancel, or end the renewal since they have no refund after 30 days. Stuck for a year now. Run away. Hide. Don't look back. On day 31 you're locked in for a year. Try 10Web instead. Auto backup. Great support. Great hostin... Totally awful experience. No refunds after joining. Bluehost is truly customer oriented.

After years of dealing with the web as an outsider, Joe stood out as the most patient and helpful person I've met in a long time. His calm voice and careful steps made Bluehost feel easy again for me.

Held domain hostage for 60 days
Bluehost kept my domain hostage for two months. Watch out before trusting them with your domains. They hide extra charges each year on renewals. When I tried to move it to a fair, pay-once service like Cloudflare, I ran into a wall of hurdles meant to stop me. By the end, after weeks, many calls,... Bluehost kept my domain hostage for two months. Watch out before trusting them with your domains. They hide extra charges each year on renewals. When I tried to move it to a fair, pay-once service like Cloudflare, I ran into a wall of hurdles meant to stop me. By the end, after weeks, many calls, and emails, they forced a 60 day lock on transfers. ICANN rules say registrars can offer an opt-out, but Bluehost does not. Worst run-in with a company in a decade. Do yourself a favor and pick an honest, no fluff host like Cloudflare for your site. Their support kept promising changes that never came, and I spent hours on hold. In the end I found Cloudflare and moved away, saving time and avoiding more hidden costs altogether.

The system is Broken

Setup here just ain't workin'. I spent $200USD on a custom domain and still can't link it. I bought it to use as a go-between for other front-end servers. What a total letdown! Really awful vibe.
