Item listing claimed a cheap bundle: “DISCOUNT SALE FOR GARMINS ECHOMAP UHD2 93SV WITH LIVESCOPE BUNDLE GLS 10 LVS34GT56” for $323. 1-unit. The seller, Isaac, said shipping would push me to $405. He said cards aren’t accepted but Zelle would work, so I paid $405. After that payment, he asked for ... Then he demanded $100 extra for doorstep delivery. All along, he kept saying the item had shipped and that I would get it in a day or two. I started to feel like this was a scam! I later learned he steered me away from Alibaba to finish the deal. I never realized he was tricking me to leave Alibaba’s site. Feeling totally ripped off today.

Ordered multiple items from Alibaba.com; received part of the order and the rest were backordered for weeks. Customer service was slow and offered little help, leaving me frustrated.

alibaba-inc must be one of the worst…
alibaba-inc sits near the bottom of the list of worst companies, they own many sites that cheat people. My tip is to keep away from alibaba-inc and all their brands. They mess with customers.

Alibaba still unresolved my issues.. anything changes I will update..it not over I need to get authorities involved..this platform should be Banned 🚫 I will keep you posted as well.

After shipment, the seller changed the listing and order details to dodge liability. They refused a refund and kept offering fake technical “support” to dodge the issue at all. I sent full proof: photos, videos, screenshots, and invoices to Alibaba’s Buyer Protection service. This case stays in dispute, and I will keep pushing until I get a full refund. 🔺 Be careful: This seller is dishonest, manipulative, and unfair today. Avoid Xian Triumph Tech Co., Ltd. at all costs!

Alibaba Protects Sellers, Not Buyers — Even When You're Clearly Right
I bought from Jinhua Wangyuan Packaging Products Co., Ltd. ( Zhejiang, China) — they say they specialize in polymailers and custom packaging. I ordered 2.7 mil thick shipping bags, because the seller told me that's what I needed. What I got was clearly thinner, not what I paid for, and unusable ... I ordered 2.7 mil thick shipping bags, because the seller told me that's what I needed. What I got was clearly thinner, not what I paid for, and unusable for my line of work. The bags would tear with normal use. I sent everything Alibaba asked for: Videos showing the bags compared to a previous order Screenshots where the seller admitted the bags were thinner The original spec showing 2.7 mil A full explanation of why the thinner bags won't work for me Even with all of that, Alibaba ruled for the seller, who offered no real proof. They told me: 'The product has defects, but it may not be worth a full refund.' So they agree the product is wrong—but since the seller says it's still usable, I was told I don't deserve a refund? That's not protection. That's nonsense. Then they said I 'didn't respond in time' to a refund offer. That's not true. I did reply, and I made it clear I wouldn't take a $200 refund for a large, wrong order. Instead of keeping the talk going, they closed the case and gave me nothing. I bounced around from one department to another. No one made the seller accountable. The burden of proof rested on me, even though the seller admitted fault and I had evidence — they did not. I finally filed a chargeback with my bank, and that's the only reason I'm getting justice. Alibaba's Trade Assurance let me down big time. ⚠️ Buyer tip: Don't rely on Alibaba to guard you. If you buy, use a card so you can charge it back. Better yet, skip Alibaba and deal straight with suppliers — you won't be paying a middleman who won't stand by you. I hope others learn from this and protect themselves, because this stuff happens far more often than you think. Please remember to check everything, keep receipts, and insist on real proof.

Product quality was misleading
Quality didn't match Alibaba.com photos; item arrived with defects. Returns process is slow and unclear. Overall, not terrible, but I won't reorder.

The seller offered a lamp replacement, but our licensed engineer said the fault was system-wide and deeper. They ignored him and simply delayed replies to let the dispute clock run out. Lack of action left us stuck. Even with solid technical proof and repeated warnings, Alibaba support ignored us, said the protection window had closed, and ruled in the seller's favor. They chose him. Now the seller vanished, leaving us with a dead unit and zero help from anyone nearby today. We filed complaints with Trustly, the receiving bank, and European consumer authorities about it. This isn't only a poor experience—it's Alibaba letting fraud go by, covering up for dishonest suppliers and hurting real buyers like us directly. Bottom line: If you think Alibaba is a safe B2B site — think twice. There's no true buyer protection here. Once you pay, you’re stuck at the mercy of the seller. And Alibaba? They walk off. Skip Hebei Forever Beauty Laser. And second guess trusting Alibaba at all anyway.

I bought two small excavators from Shanghai Qianzhi Trading in China last year, and it went bad. I placed an RFQ on the AliBarba site and got many replies, with Shanghai offering one of the best options for the extra gear I asked for. I made it clear that everything would go through AliBarba so T... I bought two small excavators from Shanghai Qianzhi Trading in China last year, and it went bad. I placed an RFQ on the AliBarba site and got many replies, with Shanghai offering one of the best options for the extra gear I asked for. I made it clear that everything would go through AliBarba so Trade Assurance could cover me, and I paid 30% as the rules say, but Shanghai kept delaying the ship date. Then I talked to AliBarba and Shanghai, they sent the shipping data and I paid the last payment. When the machines arrived, they were not clean, so I had to pay extra fees for MPI to get them through. On arrival they were in a poor state, not tied down in the container, and the panels and wiring were damaged, which may have shorted in transit or were bad before they left. The extra parts were missing, along with piping and valves; the hoses were shoved into belly plates, making it look like they were added to the photos. What I got looked nothing like the machines shown before I bought, and I tried to talk with Shanghai's managers but I was blocked from contacting them. So I filed a dispute with AliBarba and waited months for any answer, only to be told there was not enough evidence, which is not true because I sent all I had, including the RFQ and proof that everything went via AliBarba. They said the file could stay open if I got new proof, and I have sent more showing this company is a repeat offender and that another firm like this has also reached out to AliBarba. Shanghai Qianzhi still sells through the AliBarba site, as I mentioned, but nothing has changed, so I warn others to be careful what you buy from AliBarba because they will not stand by you if things go bad. I have bought from many legit firms in China and not all are bad, so Shanghai Qianzhi should be exposed and shut down, since AliBarba does not seem to care how bad they are. I told friends and coworkers about this, and I shared the order numbers, dates, and the photos I sent as proof to show what happened. The whole process dragged on for months, and the delays cost me time and money, plus costs to clean everything and the hassle of getting help. I know other buyers got the same runaround and still saw nothing fixed, which is why I warn people to check the seller and stay alert in all future buys online. If you need Trade Assurance, make sure they keep records, take photos, and compare your order with what you get.
