What a nightmare experience!
Disaster from start to finish. My mom waited hours after they said someone was at the gate; the delivery was canceled and they promised to try again the next day in the 9am-5pm window. Live chat made it worse: messages ignored, and I got kicked out of the chat, and I felt ignored anyway. Eventual... Disaster from start to finish. Live chat made it worse: messages ignored, and I got kicked out of the chat, and I felt ignored anyway. Eventually I canceled the order and hired a nearby courier to do the delivery. They also wouldn't say which local firm they used—the one that failed to deliver at 4pm on Friday.

Don’t use 1-800-Flowers
Back on 10/8/25 I ordered balloons, a flower bunch, and a stuffed toy. The plush and the blooms arrived, but the balloons never did. I was told the missing balloons and a new bouquet would come today, 10/9/25. Nothing turned up at my friend's place; the live cam shows no florist drop-off. I calle... I called again today and was told the florist would try again tomorrow, 10/10/25. This isn't the first time 1-800-Flowers has dropped the ball, and it's not surprising to see it keep happening. I won't be using 1-800-Flowers again. Honestly, this pattern makes me doubt their care and value for customers today.

Placed an order for a bouquet never received
About ten days ago I ordered a bouquet and a boutonniere. I got the 'order received' note and a delivery update saying it would arrive by 8pm. When it didn't appear, I phoned in, and 1-800-Flowers said the local florist never accepted the order. Apparently there’s no system to warn customers when... When it didn't appear, I phoned in, and 1-800-Flowers said the local florist never accepted the order. Apparently there’s no system to warn customers when a delivery won’t happen. They would have kept my money and not blinked. Their fix was a HALF refund and sending another bouquet that would come three days after the event. No thanks! It felt like they hoped I would just forget it and lose out completely.

Very Late Delivery

Booked a paid 9-12 delivery window so my mom could have it for her birthday. It arrived around 8pm. Not a single apology or any explanation was offered. I won't use this company again. Totally ruined the day too.

Not about the flowers this time; it's the support nightmare I hate. The chat is only an AI loop, keeps asking the same things, so I typed 'chat stinks' to vent. They said I'd be connected to a real person, but after twenty minutes nothing happened and I hung up. Then there's a link to check your ... When you finally get the code, it dumps you back on their site with zero details about my order. Totally frustrating and maddening! I just wanted a simple answer today.

Hard to imagine this spot is still running. They swore they'd drop off for a special occasion when timing counted... then nothing showed up, with zero apology, and we were left waiting. Pathetic.

This is a horrible company that broke a kid's heart and forced this grandma to go back on a promise. Unacceptable and inexcusable. I expected better from a local shop and felt sad.

Ordering from 1-800-Flowers was a letdown for me. The package arrived late, and when it did, the box wasn’t put together right. That was really annoying and unprofessional. The blooms were nice once they showed up, but the whole lead-up felt like a mess. Honestly, you’re better off at a local flower shop—better service, steadier delivery, and a lot less stress. It felt like they didn’t care about my order, honestly.

On a milestone night, I spent $69 on a bouquet for my daughter's first anniversary, but what arrived looked nothing like that plan. What came was a tiny jar with two blooms, set among mostly leaves, not the bouquet I saw online. I reached out, they apologized and said they'd send a new one the next day. Yet the second try never arrived in time. Worse, the order status showed as delivered even though nothing was delivered. When I called again, they said the florist had left early, but they still marked it as delivered. Now it’s late evening, and I’m left without what mattered most. It feels dodgy, almost like fraud, to update delivery statuses without actually delivering. As a Passport member I expected better service, but this experience broke my trust. I’m canceling my membership and won’t order from this company again. If you’re thinking about buying from them, double-check what you’ll actually get—you may not get what you paid for. That day was ruined for us, and I felt let down.

Picked out flowers Friday hoping for Saturday delivery. Saturday night, around 6:30, they called to say the exact bouquet I wanted wasn't in stock and they'd move the delivery to Monday. That never happened either. I've bought from them many times and the blooms were always nice, until now. The rep... The reps sent a refund after the second failed order, which helped a bit, but it feels like this company has slipped. Right now I doubt they'll ever deliver anything on time. That would be nice.

Ridiculous

Flowers I ordered never arrived, and they kept saying they had sent them. A week later they said a different courier would handle it, but nothing moved yet. Six weeks later, I'm still waiting on a refund that hasn't shown up.
